Hello. I have built a Windows 10 Pro computer with an old ASUS Prime B350-Plus mobo and a Ryzen 7 1800X left over from an old upgrade. I have two 8gb sticks of DDR4 that was in the ASUS/R7 build originally in it. New components are Thermaltake 700W PSU, Crucial 500gb NvME M.2 SSD, and a new RX 580 8gb GPU. The computer boots just fine, but the video signal starts randomly blanking out when Windows has fully loaded. Viewing the BIOS, the video is steady (no blanking out). I installed the AMD video software from their website, and use the standard settings. I tried an older RX 560 card I had laying around, and same issue. I also installed an old Nvidia GT610 (1gb) video card, and it appears stable. Any ideas on why the random video outages?
Thanks!

Are you using a 4K UHD display over HDMI?

Was that RX 580 used in mining?

Tried a different cable?

Not a 4K UHD display, but using an adapter to connect the monitor (VGA to HDMI on the card).
The RX 580 was purchased from a local Best Buy, in a sealed box. No marking indicating "Refurb" or anything like that.
I'll try another monitor with an HDMI to HDMI cable and remove the VGA conversion from the path and see what happens.
Thanks!
