Random Disconnect issues (on wireless network) with Netgear WG511 Wireless Card and Linksys WAP54g Access Point

Does anyone using a Netgear WG511 (802.11g) pcmcia card and Linksys WAP54g Access point have problems with random disconnects?

In general, has anyone had issues with random disconnects using 802.11g wireless networks? Is it possible that this is related to access point/wireless card hardware from different manufacturers? Any suggestions for resolving the random disconection issues?

EDIT: I think it has something to do with interference from a nearby (2 feet away) 2.4Ghz cordless phone. Has anyone else encountered interference issues from cordless phones with 802.11g, and if so what did you do about it?
