Hello,
I have been have a seemingly random memory dump errors on my computer recently. I think its either a bad ram stick, or a bad sound card. I think it could be bad ram cause the error every once and a while is "cannot write to memory". It could be the sound cause the sound card dies every once and a while untill i change the PCI slot that it is it, at which time it usually starts working again.
What I would like to know is if there is a good program out there that is effective at stressing the ram, and if there is a problem, identifing which stick it is.
Thanks
Caesar
P.S. My system is a dual p3 600 on a Tyan Tiger 133 with 640 megs of ram running Windows XP pro
