I get random bluescreens ONLY when playing 3D games on the following brand new system. Any ideas what to check?

I've already swapped out the video card, so I've tried both a Radeon9600SE and a GeForce TI 4200 Turbo now...

Latest nVidia / Radeon drivers and everything...

AMD Athlon 2400+
MSI Delta motherboard
512mb RAM ( not sure of brand off top of my head )
AGP Radeon 9600SE / GeForce 4200 TI Turbo
Onboard Sound / LAN

Windows 2000

It could be graphics card hanging but i dont know if that gives a blue screen, ie had it happen to me and you could try lowering the AGP aperture size in display settings and also turn VPU recover off. If that doesnt help then i would say it might be memory or harddisk problem.

I agree. If it passes, it could be a bad power supply.

Yeah, what brand/model/wattage is the PSU? Also consider bumping the memory voltage to 2.6V-2.7V area if the problem persists.

That should be enough, but it's cutting it close. I would get at least 350.
