Random application's crashing with error report

I rather don't understand but recently i have been getting random applications crashing with and error report in this particular case it?s my PowerDVD in which if freezes stating ?PowerDVD has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience? Send error report don't send?. This happened with Word Explore just about any application ATI HDTV. Aside from this computer is running fine. All I have to do is start the program up again. Just annoying any idea what my be the culprit might be?

Every time I have seen this happen it is because the CPU (or RAM) is overclocked a little too far, or the CPU is overheating.

Your sig doesn't say if you are overclocking, but if you are put everything back to stock speeds and see if the problem goes away.

Also, make sure that all of your fans and the CPU heat sink are clean and functioning properly.

all stock speeds no OCing i will cheak the heat read outs but i don't think they get over 109 F just started 2 days ago it seems. ram going bad then or?

Bios v6.00PG http://www.evga.com/support/drivers/default.asp?switch=2 I think i might be to much of a noob or a light weight for this would help alot if i was shown befor doing it my self that always works best for me.

you have version 6? it shows as the latest driver being 5.
If you want to flash it I would reccomend the winflash utility, I've used that and its worked pretty good and its easy to do. Just make sure you read the documentation first.
