Nice story. I've never really known or been nice to any of my random neighbors over the years. Kinda sad really.
 
Neighbors can been cool. I left for Louisiana last month and it snowed. One of the neighbors, we don't know our neighbors, as we just moved in, noticed the walks had not been plowed since the snow. He saw my wife out one day and asked if we needed help with them. She explained that I was gone and she could not do the snowblower. He plowed the walks the entire time I was gone. Most people are very cool. It is just the few bad apples that spoils it for everyone. We see some people are as*holes and then think that is the way most people are.
