Stopping Obama is all we care about right now. We can stop his damage and willful destruction of this great nation. I've never seen people so excited to vote. All over the office people were making sure to ask everybody if they voted, making sure family and friends got out and voted and all the enthusiasm of "We're going to stop Obama, we have to stop him, NOW!".

The Senate traditionally has always had at least one colorful, vocal wack job. It looks like that's going to be Paul's job now.

As far as the teabaggers go, we will see how they do once they actually have some power. The first big test to their principles is going to be the upcoming effort to raise the nation's debt ceiling.

Screw it. Against all better judgement, tebagbump for November Ownage and Nick's money. All major news are calling it for Rand Paul and even Senator Mitch McConnel is now addressing him as Senator-Elect. Watching the local news the Conway party is empty. Still too early to tell IMHO, but the lead is strongly convincing with 20% of polls reported. I don't want to jinx. But happy days may indeed be ahead, oh happy days, oh happy days, oh taking our country back are WE!

Is this an issue for Kentucky? Would a majority of voters there mind if racial segregation was legal again?

He said Federal government. That doesn't mean it would be legal again, just the states with facilitate that. And without looking, I would wager that all states have some sort of anti-segregation legislation on their books as it is.
