Ah old news :) But still, even though these specs aren't much different from the old ones, if they are true this card will be truly amazing. And this is the mid level card, imagine the high level....wow

After the V5 6K fiasco, I doubt 3dfx will forray into the 4 GPU market again. Methinks they've learned their lesson.

Regardless, the dual-chip card should still be quite fast. They could easily cover the entire market with Rampage cards with slower DDR ram (or Sdram for that matter).

The v6000 is basically complete. I just think they realize there is no demand for it. The lessons they learned with the V6000 should help them with the Rampage equivalent when the time comes.

The article at HardOCP says it will be "available in December." That would be nice.

The *article* also says that it will be announced at ECTS in September. LOL! Did 3dfx announce it at ECTS ? Nope. It also looks like HardOCP and Shugashack have short memories. They posted the same BS last July ( HardOCP Shuga ) .

*sniggers*

Rampage is going to kick a$$, that's all you need to worry about.

Edit: that wasn't meant to sound Anti-Nvidia or Anti-ATI or Pro-3dfx or any such thing. I think that the V5, Radeon and GeForce2 are all good products, and I think that the Rampage, NV20 and Radeon2? will also be.

Dave , till now , i don't really remember having bitched you even once , you should not think about every one to be like Hardware ...... go read my other post you'll see that every time , i suggest you leaving them alone .
Not worth a debat though :) , now come on and leak some specs :)

Dave-

HOS support?

The leaked specs all seem to have one common element, way higher then possible with AGP 4X poly throughput. I had assumed that all DX8 boards were supposed to have HOS support to be compliant, but going over everything that is out now I'm not certain. Perhaps I am missing something...

How about this(I know you are NDAd:))-

Does being fully DX8 compliant require HOS support?
