Spaceman, oh spaceman!
come rescue me from this!
calling all aliens!
come rescue me!
Remember that night at my window
when i waved at you?
I must have been only five, or so,
but i never forgot you.
I wonder why you choose those others
and you never come to call on me
when I'm the one whos waiting for you
I really need you-please pick me!
Spaceman, oh spaceman!
come rescue me from this!
calling all aliens!
come rescue me!

That's what I always said, until I got my Crew Cab! 21' - 6" long!
It's a Bi**h to park.
(Rides like a Cadillac, though 🙂 )

friend of mine had a 79 chevy 4wd crew cab with long bed. damn thing was HUUUGE. jacked it up on a 6" lift and big tires, i kept telling him he would high center it on any hill. he did, many times. i have a short bed with a tool box in it, so i only have about 4ft of usable space in my truck. when i carry lumber, i put it on top of tool box and let it hang over the back with a flag, then tie it down with straps. havent had an issue yet. if its too large a load, i call and get one of our service body trucks with a rack to haul it for me.

Man, I can imagine how huge that thing is! I have the short bed also (but no tool box). Plenty of tie downs on the Tundra too, so I haven't had an issue hauling anything. I am thinking about getting a bed extender like my F150 had. Came in handy many times.
