depends on ramen...15 for a buck in the last decade or so had to be like 2 noodles in a pack.

I always bought the fancy Nissan cup noodles instead of the cheaper bagged kind, that's just the kind of rich and snooty gourmet I am.

I remember when ramen was .10 or .05 (on sale/grocery strike period)... those were the days.

I have never seen a single food item cost less than a few dollars. 99c for a ramen is usually a pretty good deal. Still ends up being more than a dollar after taxes. Sympathy not found.

8 for $1 is about the cheapest I remember, but I never bought them much. I was always tired of them after the second bag.

Foodland, A&P, Walmart, sometimes No Frills. Everything here is over a dollar. Everything in the states is so cheap, and often people there forget how good they have it.

I forget that people outside the united states have electricity/internet.
