Well, Rambus don't have a 'product' per se. All they have is intellectual property, and the only way for them to earn money is by having people license their technology. So they need to sue as many people as they possibly can to get them to pay them license fee. It may seem annoying at times, but hey, what can they do?

Why is everyone rambus crapping? They have created and provide a certain technology. If you don't like their products then don't buy them, and if any other company had rivals that were infringing their patents I'm sure they would sue too.

If you're one of those that are bitching about the whole Pentium IV thing then start Intel bashing because they're the ones to designed the motherboard, not RAMBUS.

Rambus aint going nowhere soon. The next gen consoles are on the horizon so they could always sue Nintendo, Microsoft and Sega for using SDRAM in their consoles😉

I do not believe a single one of those court cases has ever come to a conclusion (except some settlements).

We actually don't know the validity of the Rambus' patents. Micron appears to have joined with some other companies in filing countersuits and anti-trust actions against Rambus.

We will just have to wait and see the outcome of the trials. Rambus' future as a company is depending on a favorable outcome for them. The other companies' futures are not at stake - only royalty payments.
