rambus and overclocking question

i am currently overclocking my p4 1.6(a) to 2.0 but in order for this to work i have to drop my rambus down to 3x. does this affect the quality of the ram? i am also overclocking my gainward geforce 3 ti-200 to 225/450. i realize rambus is not the best choice when it comes to overclocking but i got a good deal a while back. my mobo is an asus p4-t. will this mobo work with PC1066 rdram?
