Which isn't really surprising considering that most critics are emasculated metrosexual liberals who despise a real man. Brokeback mountain was one of their favorites for good reason.

I dont get why anyone liked brokeback mountain, its was pointless and boring. Maybe they made it to have a PC film about ass poking.

reviews are always bad on these types of movies...the geek reviewers think unless a movie is oscar worthy, it has no value.

The waffle movies guy's audio review of this on our local radio station was more focused on Stallone personally than the movie. The guy sounded like a jealous little school girl that now can hit back.

The acting was bad (the lines were B movie quality). The editing was crap (the colors didn't even match when changing from one scene to another). The CGI was very bad (using it instead of makeup effects?) The violence was holy freakingly bloody (I counted at least 5 heads blowing up). I thought it was an okay and entertaining movie, nothing more, nothing less.

i thought that was just the theater. also there were some issues with audio mixing where audio would cut out on a channel.

HomerBoy said it best: There are good movies and entertaining movies.
First Blood was the only good movie.

Evrything else was just entertaining.
Same with Rocky vs. Rocky 2 through 5.

I have to agree.
If you just sit and are able to watch it an dont love gays and dont hate gays, you will see it really is a weak movie.
The only reason it got so much attention is its a mainstream Hollywood flick that deals seriously with gay men. Traditionally that was Sundance Film Festival territory.

Different and special, yes, but the movie itself just wasnt very good or entertaining.

Wasn't bad... I went in wanting mindnumbing violence and that is exactly what I got... BTW... I went in think this is going to be awesome... all it needs is some pirates and I might die...

A couple of the special effects looked really bad.... the best example is the evis at the very end... the guts and blood look horrible.

sure didn't seem like 90 minutes.

We got there @ 1:33 and the previews/movie trailers/theatre warning about talking had already started. They lasted 15 minutes or so, maybe slightly more.

I think we got out right after 3 pm.

Yeah, thats not 90 minutes. We left as the credits started rolling.

This movie was laughably bad. I laughed at the ending, and several other parts throughout this film. Go see There Will Be Blood instead.

Me and a friend left the theater basically in the mindset of "Wow .... that was the most violent movie I've ever seen". So of course that means we freaking loved it. I liked it for the fact that it didn't try to dumb down the violence to "acceptable" levels. It, more than any other action movie I've seen, showed you just how violent things can really be. It seemed almost too potentially realistic.

Please do yourself a favor and only rent/watch the first one. You've been warned... :p

just saw this movie. saw michael clayton yesterday and I liked it. but holy damn, Rambo was awesome. i loved the earlier ones, but wasnt expecting much. it blew my mind. so refreshing when everyone atm is touting 'sophisticated' artsy films with sharp dialogue. only Rambo reminds us what the true definition of sharp is.

Rambo was awesome! Glad none of it was real but that kind of stuff really does happen. Not the Rambo part but the killing.
