Ram will run 1000 but not 500fsb

The testing:

500fsb with 6multi on a Q9650 & Maximus II Formula board. I already know the MIIF board is not stable in windows at 500fsb no matter what you do. Could that even cause a problem even with running Memtest86 at 500fsb?

Seems SuperPI will not run either even if I have all else on auto from a bios reset & just the ram at DDR2 1000 which is the rated speed I bought.

Gskill DDR2 1000 F2-8000CLD5-4GBPQ

I already answered your thread on this a week or two ago.

If FSB/NB is not stable, you will get errors in Memtest, yes.

SuperPi is broken in Vista; use HyperPi.
