Please help me.
I am not a thick person usually but I am having difficulty understanding what is going wrong.
I have an AOpen Mx64 motherboard which most of you will probably know has 3 DIMMs.
My PC came with 64mg of RAM but when I have tried adding and extra 128 meg it only recognises 128 meg in total even though there are two cards in the machine. At first I thought my friend had given me a duff card so I returned it to him. He put it in his machine and sure enough it shows the full 128. He gave me another card to try and when I put this one in it does not recognise any memory atall and my machine beeps at me constantly
Is there any reason why this would happen? Is there anything I am not seeing for looking too hard. From the info I have read about the motherboard it seems to be compativble with both PC133 & VC133 and the cards I am using are PC133...
Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Sorry I have babbled on a bit
Regards
Raistlin
