Why dont you open up the case? And why do you want only 32mb of memory? or do you mean a whole other stick of 128mb?

Anyway, get the ram here memman 32mb pc100 for 25 bucks.

I'm not familiar with the Gateway 366, but usually when you buy RAM memory it comes in sticks or modules containing 64 MB, 128 MB, or even 256 MB of RAM per stick. The module fits in a slot on the system board.

You might want to contact or visit a Gateway Country Store and ask them what your options are and what they recommend.

Have you checked out Crucial? They have a memory config where you choose you system and it will find all of the memory that they make which will work in you computer.

I second Crucial. What type of CPU do you have? Right-click My Computer, select Properties, and read toward the bottom.
