RAM upgrade problems

Asus P5A with 64 mb PC100 RAM runs perfectly. I tried to upgrade to 96 mb RAM without success. Two seperate attempts with different problems. First time the system would not boot. Returned the 32 mb RAM, was told it wasn't running at full speed. Swapped it out for 32 mb running at full speed. At first boot up, sustem recognizes the 96 mb of RAM then starts freezing up and won't reboot. Any ideas? I've never had a problem when installing RAM. It has always been problem free.

What Modules of Memory are you using, all 32MB or 1x64 and 1x32.

Make sure that they are all the same type of memory (i.e PC100 SDRAM non-parity)

Time was not on my side with this problem. I purchased the RAM at the "Market Pro" computer show eight weeks ago. Then exchanged it three weeks ago only for the current problems. The show was back yesterday, so I took out both sticks, good 64 mb and problem 32 mb, and took them to the vendor. Solution: Upgrade the 32 mb to 64 mb (same as the good 64 mb) for a very small additional investment. Up and running again. I've bought all of my RAM from the same vendor and he always stands behind it, no hassles. Two thumbs up for the vendor "The Competion".
