what timeings are the best

CS 9 Voltage: 1.5V Timing: 9-9-9-24-2N
CS 7 Voltage: 1.65V Timing: 7-8-7-20

and im sure it will both work for a AMD set up

You want to have a low volt Ram kit to keep the memory controller voltages within ? .050v ? of the vcore

Someone wrote up a detailed explanation of this somewhere on the forum and I hope to come across it again to book-mark it but its something like that for a Bloomfield & Gulf-town chip

I dunno, maybe the one with the lower numbers?

But seriously, I'd stick with the 1.5V kit. Timings don't make nowhere near enough difference to compensate for the higher voltage required and decrease in long-term reliability, IMO.

I agree. The difference in performance will not be noticable unless you like bench testing and like the numbers. Stick with the 1.5v

RAM timings mean nothing by themselves. There are CAS 9 sticks that have less latency than CAS 7 sticks. All else being equal, a lower CAS does mean improved latency however.
