great work shimmishim! 😀 you've been really busy lately with all your tbreds, memory, and watercooling. 😉 didn't you also have some hyperx memory? how did that work out for you? i'm really considering getting 1gb of memory, but i'm having such a difficult time deciding now that prices are similar. kingston hyperx 3200, twinmos/winbond, and corsair xms3200c2 are pretty much the same price for 512 sticks. twinmos used to be the no brainer since it was less, but now i can't decide. what do u think?
hehe ~ no no no....Originally posted by: Shimmishim
weird.. if you want me to send it to ya, let me know. my version works.

you will also find adding more vdd voltage on abit nf7s allows you tighter memory timings

yeah.. i dunno what happened.. the price of the twinmos/winbond sky rocketed... 🙁
my pc3000 hyperX was fine...
it could do 2-2-2-6 @ 193 mhz ... i tried 200 but that was on my 8rda+ before it died... and 200 didn't work cuz of the vdd voltage.
some people are being able to do 2-2-2-6 @ 200 so... the hyperx is good.
if the prices are all the same... then go for the cheapest one i guess... i'd prolly stick with the corsair or the twinmos/winbond...
see if you can find out what ram chips the hyperx uses... i never removed the blue heat spreaders so i have no idea..
