Is there a way that I can see the speed of each of my DIMMs that are installed in my PC. For some reason, I have the feeling that some are faster than others. If that is the case, won't the PC run at the slowest speed?

1st, not highly Technical, 2nd it should be in the Bios. The ram will have to run at the given FSB for it.

If you're talking about timings, yes, all modules will run at the speed of the slowest. If you want to know about the speed (MHz rating) of each of your modules, get CPU-Z at CPU ID. That's a handy little program.

Icarus, this forum doesnt use HTML, click on help in the menu if you want to read the forum commands.

munruss, i'm sorry, but this issue is off topic in this forum. But it is not possible unless you actually look up the part numbers on the individual chips. No program will help you do that. However, if your RAM has SPD chips on them, then you may be able to get a reading off of those.
