RAM speed doesnt matter??

Then his statement is pretty much accurate. What matters most is the video card, then the cpu. Next I guess would be ram, but it won't make much of a difference. Of course, if you underclocked your ram to like 100 MHz your system would be sucking wind.

I was asking if ddr333 has a big diff in gaming then ddr2 533

well since there is not system that you would have the choice of ddr333 or ddr2 533....but it really depends on the platform. the p4 is much more bandwidth starved than the A64. but generally timings and minor changes in speed don't matter much. but if you running pc2100 on a p4 it's gonna be hurting big time.

for overall performance, no RAM speed doesnt mean much however it does mean much in certain contexts like overclocking and getting the performance and stability I need out of it to compliment the rest of the system im working on

awwwwww what should i do go with the ddr333 with go6600 or with the ddr2 533 with ati MR x600 SE freakin toshiba makes me so pissed off

Actually, some of the 915 chipset boards have both DDR and DDR2 slots.
