RAM reccomendations for K8T Neo-FIS2R

Hey guys. I need some reccomendations for RAM for the K8T Neo-FIS2R. Should i get just one stick or go dual channel? i know the Athlon 64 doesnt support dual channel so would one stick be better then dual sticks or vice versa? I'm prob looking at 512MB right now. Any help or reccomendations would be greatly appreciated.

Get one stick of 512. This way you won't be stuck with 2 sticks of 256 when you upgrade.

I'd have to agree - get one stick of 512 for now.

yeah i've been to the list of recommended stuff..i guess i was looking for more real world experiences from people.. thanks for the responses though 🙂

I would get one 512MB module and I would recommend using PC3200 for the Athlon 64 processors. The motherboard will take a max of 3 gigs so you will be fine with 1 512MB module.

Agreed. The jump from single to dual channel is not that amazing. You probably won't even be able to notice it in real world situations unless you use really memory bandwidth intensive applications.
