RAM questions (a bit basic)

Ive been fiddling around with my TwinMOS Winbond CH-5 PC3200 RAM lately due to my new Barton which isnt amazing.... but decent.

220mhz 2.5-3-3-11..... fails Memtest quickly
215mhz 2.5-3-3-11..... fails Memtest a little slower
210 and 205 @ 2.5-3-3-11 still fail
200mhz, same timings, 1006 errors after 5 passes (cache on, all tests, all memory)

To be honest, it feels rock solid in Windows even at 210. Is this a case of RMA or did the overclocking kill it? I can live with it the way it is, it does the job. I just dont like the fact that it is erroring.

Well, I've heard some nasty things about TwinMos ram, especially the CH5 chips. Supposedly, the CH6 ram is supposed to be quite a bit better. Not that that's helping you right now, huh?😀 Sorry, that's the only thing I can think of at the moment.

np. I dont like the fact that its erroring at what should be stock but then again, I have overclocked so thats probably voided whatever warranty I had. I suppose if its stable as it is....
