hello, i currently bought 2 sticks of 256mb ddr ram, i was wondering, can i put a 512mb ddr stick in with the 2 sticks of 256mb?

what's your mobo?

depends if your mobo can support 1/2 gig sticks

i got the KR7A-non raid with xp1900+ proccessor

up to 4 DDR slots 4gb memory max

but can i have multiple ram sticks, IE (two 256mb ddr stick, two 512mb ddr sticks)

so can i put in 2 types of sticks, one 256 and one 512mb ddr ram on the mobo? KR7A mobo

I went to the website and looked up that board. It says it supports a max of 4GB of memory. This means that it should definitely accept 512MB sticks. There shoudn't be a problem if you mix and match sizes either.

Put the 256 sticks 1st...then the 512 on the 3rd slot. Less RAM probs.
