Ram question.

Should I go for 128megs of Micron PC133 ram or 256megs? I dual boot Windows 2000 and win 98se. I have a duron 600 @ 1000 with an Abit KT7. Is Micron ram good? I can get 128megs for $115 canadain.

Running Win2K go with 256...in regard to micron I use Mushkin Exclusively cannot answer that question.

micron makes great ram.
try to get cl2 if you can afford it, it's better.

Ditto - see this if you don't believe me. You need more RAM for Win 2000 than for Win 98.

Yes, get 256MB if you are going to run Win2K. 🙂

If you are using Win2k, get 256 MB or you will experience the slowness of win2k with 128 MB even though if you get a faster processor.

Cas2 makes a difference in memory intensive things. Quake3 benifits from it, and I'm sure other things like it too.
