so i have a question, and i am hoping you guys have an answer.

so say, someone had 1 gig of cheap ram timings of like 3 4 4 7, or even 2.5 3 3 7
and another gig of expensive ram running at like 2 2 2 5...
would that person be better off with just the 1 gig of fast stuff, or the full two gigs.

Really depends what kind of apps you use. I'd go with faster ram personally 😛 since I currently don't have any apps that tax more than 900mb pagefile
 
Well, this really belongs in General, but it depends on what the RAM is being accessed for. Down to what games you play.
