Okay I know this is a noob question, but I'm trying to buy the cheapest ram possible for my family and I wasn't sure if I need 2 sticks of 256mb ddr 400 ram for the computer to run or if it would be okay to just have 1 stick of 512mb ddr 400 ram? If you have any suggestions as to what brand name ram I would also greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
