RAM question for anyone with the MSI K8N Diamond mobo

I'm trying to decide whether to go with the MSI K8N Diamond or the Asus A8N32-SLI mobos. I'm planning on running with 2Gb RAM using a matched pair of double-sided 1Gb sticks. I've been reviewing the user manuals for both mobos, and my concern is the distance between the RAM slots in the MSI mobo looks a little tight. Has anyone had any problems fitting two RAM sticks with heat-spreaders into adjacent slots on the MSI mobo?

I really like the idea of being able to run on-board sound using the built-in Audigy chip, so if there are no other issues I'm leaning toward the MSI. But if I won't be able to run my 2Gb of RAM in dual-channel mode because I can't get the two sticks next to each other, then I'm going with the Asus board. Overclocking is not an issue.

It'll fit on the K8N Diamond as long as it's not the ultra bling Corsair with the huge heatspreader that has a built in LED display.

I like the K8N Diamond better than the A8N32 SLI. If I was going to upgrade my current mobo (A8N-SLI Premium) that's the board I'd go for. Like you I'd use the onboard audigy chip and I could drop my A2 ZS altogether.

Why not this RAM? I am using it and it works fine.

Are you using two of them in dual channel on the listed board? MSI runs their dual channel differently than most manufactors. Instead of using slots 1 & 3 and 2 & 4 or same color slots, MSI runs dual channel by selecting slots 1 & 2 (adjacent), which are different colors than eachother.

EDIT: Per my sig, I'm running G.Skill RAM w/ stock heat spreaders and they work fine.
