would it make any difference if i use pc2400 instead of pc2100?

my mobo is the duel athlon mobo made by tyan.

the board says it supports up to pc2100 but can i still use pc2400 and will i see a difference besides in price?
 
thats just a faster rated ram. It would work. You might see an additional speed increase by using aggressive ram timings.
