Can I bug you for a LOT more info in order to help?

What is the rest of your system (mobo, power supply, etc)?

Have you had an issue like this in the past?

Swap out any parts recently?

What are you doing when the freeze occurs?

You said no blue screens recently. What do you define at not recent? Past month? Past year?

Are you overclocking anything? What are your temperatures?

First thing I would suspect is your system drive, try to schedule check disk, tick all those 2 options (automatically fix file system errors and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors) on your system/boot drive. and restart your computer before it freezes for chkdsk to do a complete disk scan on your drive.

1. Mobo- Asus m5a97 PSU: COrsair CX 600W builder series
2. Yes, My O.S locks up like every other day

3. Nope
4. Usually browsing the internet. I was on SC2 today and the lock up happened.

5. Not in the last month. I build the computer pretty recently too. It is like two months old.

6. NOt overclocking. CPU max out at like 45 degrees c.

How do I do that?

Post #7 would be a good place to start.

RAM can do something like this, but you usually get a blue screen at least sometimes. How much voltage are you giving those Kingstons?

Accidental double post, but I set the Kingstom ram to 1333 mhz speed.
