RAM prices to increase 60%??

Just heard on some morning financial show that RDRAM was supposedly to have a price increase of around 60% over the next year. I know many people could care less about RDRAM, but since all RAM has been on the rise lately, it wouldn't be too suprising if regular RAM and DDR RAM had a similar increase.
I'm not sure what the name of the show was, just had the TV on while I was getting ready this morning, happened to hear the name "Infineon", and started paying attention. Maybe this isn't new news, just thought I would share. . . . . 😀

yeah, i remember i bought 128mb ram for 19.99; same stick is now 34.99
geeee....
i should hav ebought more then but never imagined price would go that high.

I couldn't care less what RDRAM costs. I rather stick flaming toothpicks under my fingernails that buy RDRAM.

But I AM concerned when it comes to price of DDR-RAM! When the prices were low, I couldn't afford to upgrade my system. Now that my finances are better, the price of RAM increses. Damn! But, in the long run, it's a good thing that the manufacturers can make profit from RAM. those rock-bottom prices weren't healthy in the long run.

I've got quite a bit of both DDR and RD and a lot of the DDR is the Corsair PC2700 so, I Could Care Less, but, I believe the rate at which I'm caring presently is sufficient therefore I'll continue to care at the same rate so that there will be room for me to care less if needed!😉
