RAM Prices dropping...DDR comming in to takeover?

are ram prices falling only because ddr is being readily accepted as the wave of the future and it gives a significant performance increase?

Who cares why. You can never have enough RAM. Cheap RAM is good!

Over stock of RAM, because demand was lower than expected in the last quater, which lead to a price drop, but over supply wont last long...The street speculation is that the RAM price will pick-up again in spring.
