Hi.

When i turn on my computer, and it begins to count the ram, when it gets to 262....blahblah...it starts over and over...is my ram bad or whats wrong...i've just hit the escape key so far, but its pretty annoying...i know i could just set the bios to do a quick P.O.S.T, but i'd really prefer not to.

When you have quick boot turned off. It does the RAM check with various patterns (3 to 8 different ones) so if you DON'T set it to quick boot you have to live with it.

unless you are insalling brand new ram, testing old chips, or suspect a problem, running that many tests doesn't help you at all. you really should set it to fast boot
