RAM issues.. :X

This isnt technically a cpu issue but the guys over in the general forums havent been able to give any info so far, and since theres no RAM section I'm gonna post my problem here as well.

Basically; one DIMM runs just fine, two DIMMs causes errors in Prime, and also in EQ2 (game crashes) which I have been playing a little bit lately. Anyone know how to work around this problem? Or atleast have some pointers on what might help.. Its a paired set of 2x1gb PC3200 CL2 Corsairs .. They run on 3 3 3 8 default in my bios, even though the specs according to Corsair should be 2.5 3 3 6.. The BIOS runs them on 2.7V default. I tried increasing the volt to 2.8 and 2.9 but that didnt help, and I'm not sure how much I can increase it safely. Using an Epox 9NPA Ultra+ and I have been running the DIMMS in slots 3 & 4.. The rest of my system is in the signature. Also, my system is running quite hot, roughly 60 degrees at max load, duno if that matters..

If I had to guess, I'd say one of those sticks is defective. If you can, check them in another system, see what happens.

Have you tried both DIMMs separately? Is your CPU overclocked? It could actually be your cpu, since the mem controller is on-chip.

I would try the chips seperately. If you are overclocking, sometimes the systems can run faster with one stick but need to be slowed down when there is two. I know that was the case with my Crucial. With one stick, I could run the clock higher at lower timings, with two, I either could keep the timings tight or I could OC higher but had to loosen the timings.
