My configuration is P4 3.0 MHz, 512 MB corsair ram, ati aiw radeon 9800 pro. My power source is a raidmax 450 watts. I have a P4C800 E Deluxe motherboard. My problem is that when i try to install another stick of the same RAM in, although the computer load, my screen is blank. When working wit either of the stick of ram individual, it loads fine, but I have problem when both sticks are in. Can you please tell me the problem?

Are the 2 sticks identical? I've seen some other reports of problems with 2 sticks of
Corsair (1 stick being v1.x and the other v3.x).

Maybe you could try relaxing your timings. Go into bios and set Vdimm to 2.75. Change memory
from SPD to 2.5-3-3-7. If that works, you can try to tighten your timings (2-3-3-7 , 2-3-3-6 , etc.) to find
out the best timings you can get. If that fails, maybe try 3-4-4-8 (which would really suck).

I believe the v1.1 used Winbond BH-5 chips. The v3.1 is CH-5 (or 6)

15% is kind of high. Send an email to RamGuy(at)Corsairmicro.com and explain your problem. Let
him know what you've tried and see if he has any other suggestions. If he can't help, you may be
able to get an RMA for your v1.1 stick (they'll replace it with a v3.x).

If you don't want to part with the v1.1, check Ebay and other places for someone that wants to
sell a v1.x stick.

I just checked the specs at Corsair and if your model is CMX512-3200 or CMX512-3200PT
instead of having a C2 or LL at the end (for example CMX512-3200C2v3.1). The timings
are 3-3-3-8.
