Ram heatsinks

Prices for the Zalman RAM heatsinks is about 9 bucks... I was just curious if anyone has any experience with them and if they make a difference in performance?

I have found unlike heat spreaders for DIMM memory modules that ramsinds do indeed help attain higher memory overclocks.

Never used the Zalman's but have had excellent results using the OCZ BGA copper sinks...Next were the TweakMonsters.

Stick with the copper sinks versus aluminum.

No, they do not do anything unless you are doing extreme overclocking. The GPU however can go much higher with a good cooler. Also it depends what RAM your video card is running. GDDR3 and DDR2 run very cool and most of the time ramsinks don't matter that much. With DDR howver, you might need ramsinks depending on the card as DDR runs pretty hot.
