Ram going screwy.

AS you can see my ram jumps up and down every other second. ITs mostly when I type the ram usage will shoot up and the song that i am playing crakles really bad. I know this is a broad problem but I have two crucial pc2700 512MB DDR. I am not sure what the problem is. It just is really really screwy. I run a few programs aim winamp outlook and whtever windows start up but never had this problem before. Thanks for any help.

The picture provided is CPU usage, not RAM usage. Any time you do anything (moving mouse, etc...) the CPU usuage will go up and then down. Opening up and closing programs will make it spike, even running programs like WinAmp.

If you truely think you have bad RAM try running MemTest86.

For your crackles, try updating the drivers for whatever sound card you have. If you need help locating them list some specs of your computer.
