Ram for laptops?

Semi OT but its hard to get a response in Hot deals

what kind of ram do I need for my dell 600m - i assume its ddr 2100 sodimms

also are there any hot deals out there...256 megs STINK - i want atleast a 512 dimm...

HELP!
 
Umm, I belive that this is the right forum to post in as Hot Deals are post about, well, Hot deals. Not tech support (might fit in there but it is a moble question) BTW. You need to look up the type ram for your laptop as they are diffrent (ddr and SDram tend not to fit in each others slot.)

what i meant is theres a 'wanted' thread in hot deals - but no ones looks at it

yah i know my laptop needs ddr sodimms 2100 - but would there be an advantage moving to 2700? its not clear to me...

and are there any hot deals on sodimms out there?
 
i got the crucial.com ram. if you use their configurator i think you'll be fine. they have a $25 coupon for crucial.com ram. well i got a 512mb stick. that's what the coupon is for. depends on what you're looking for.
