I changed my mind and went with the IC7 instead. Which RAM should I get? I need 1 GB of them. Should I go with the Corsair ddr400 twin packs? Those seemed to have conflict with canterwoods. If I go for the ddr433, which is good? Kingston hyperX? Corsair CMX? But they don't seem to have twin pack for ddr433, and I want to run them at dual channel mode. I've heard that if your 2 sticks of 512 isn't compatable at dual channel you would have one hell of a time trying to fix it. Is it worth the risk? AHhhh I'm so desperate for help!

Kingston Hyper X is a good stick...

I just built a BH7 and used some PC3500 from kingston...

You might need to use 2x512 though...

I think GEIL makes a 1 gig stick in PC3200 or higher...

Good Luck.

I'm hearing people say the HyperX stuff is turning out to be the best bet for the DC boards rather than the Corsair LL stuff. Too many problems trying to get them to run at their fastest settings.

Another vote for HyperX. Running HyperX PC3500 in my IC7 right now. You dont have to worry about getting two incompatible sticks, you shouldnt have any problems.

DITTO THAT! I'm using the EXACT same configuration. And the memory is cheap as heck too. Outpost has it for $109.99 per 512MB stick for PC3500

I switched to the Abit and sold the MSI on eBay :D

Considering that I plan to keep this mobo for a year, I figured that Firewire, PAT, and Serial-ATA RAID from ICH5-R would be a better thing to have :p
