RAM: Dual Channel vs. More

Okay guys, here's a question: which is better, 2 gigs of ocz pc3200 in dual channel mode, or 2 gigs ocz pc3200 in SINGLE channel mode PLUS another gig of say, corsair.

2GB in dual channel. Opens up double the bandwidth.

I thought windows couldnt utilize more than 2gb? if its true than just get the two gigs doubt you really use more than that.

Windows craps out at 4 gig, but each application is limmited to a maximum of 2 gig. If youre' going to be doing some serriously heavy multi tasking then maybe more would be good, but i doubt it.

I the reason why i'd end up with three is because i've been getting stuttering issues, and the only way i can fix it is to go pc3200, but i have to wait until the end of january to get my ultra OCZ ram. so i was thinking of picking up a gig tomorrow to hold me over. of course, i didn't want to waste my money if it would eventually just hurt my performance.
