RAM Died?

I've been using this RAM since November last year and one of my sticks just stopped working. Any advice? I'm not sure if it's dead or not but I try the stick that I think is dead in every slot alone and nothing is shown on my monitor but it works fine if I use the other stick. There is no beep on startup from my mobo speaker.

Hey dear i have got ur point. If u want to check that ram then just rub the upper part of it with a rubber with we use with pencil.So rub it properly and then put it in the slot . It may be work once again. U can try this one. All he best.

You mean rub the gold contacts with an eraser or are you talking about the top part?
