RAM Costs...

Anyone up to date on RAM prices?? I'm looking to pick up some DDR, prob in 1 gig sticks.. unbuffered if possible.... PC2100 most likely...

crucial is good, but they only come in 512MB or less sticks.. then again, i dont think ive ever seen a 1 gb stick advertised.. even mushkin.com sells only 512MB sticks.. they seem to be cheaper than crucial at the moment since there isnt a 15% off Anandtech deal anymore.. they have the 512MB PC2100 DDR SDRAM SPECIAL for $156.. that's about what i paid for a month 1/2 ago for my crucial 512MB

Hmmm... Thanks for the info guys..... now todecide whether or not I want to wait for unbuffered... they have reg'd...b tu i don't my mobo will take it.. (ASUS A7A266)

Same here. Why oh why did I go with SDR instead of DDR? Now I'm going to have to pay the $$$$ when it's upgrade time. Stupid me. Actually, I think I'd rather just take this mofo up to 1.5GB of SDR before I go DDR.
