RAM conflict problem

My system seems having problem with 400MHz DDR RAM

Every time I install the two 512MB OCZ 3200 DDR, Windows XP shows fatal blue screen error when logging in, and the hard drives just shut themselves down.

Does anyone know anything about this?

Have you tried to see if installing just 1 stick boots it up? Also try installing it in other slots. This way you can find out if one of the memory sticks are at fault or the motherboard memory banks. Also make sure that the sticks are all the way down. The plastic bits in the end should click together when they are. DOnt be afraid to use a little force.

Both DDR seem to be fine or both fail.
It seems to be problem with windows memory subsystem.

So far I found it stable is when I disable "Configure DRAM Timing by SPD" and set CAS latency to 2.5T. But it feels weird when starting up, like a bit of slower.

As I read from somewhere that the first # "3" is the CAS latency
So what's the best for setting up it?
