RAM compatibility...HELP

My system has two RD RAM chips and would like to add 1 extra DDR RAM. (It has 4 slots and two are free)

Could some one tell me if i can do that or not ?

Nope. You can't do it.
 
You most certainly cannot use DDR in an RD-only board, not to mention RDRAM's expensive and must be installed in pairs, IIRC.

Can i just get rid of the RD RAM chips and just have a one big DD RAM ?

ts3433, how do i find if the board is RD-only or not ?

Some how i would like to increase my system's memory

Yeah, actually--I know there were some boards for other platforms that were odd SDRAM/DDR hybrids with 2 sets of RAM slots, but I didn't think about the lack of chipset support for an RDRAM/DDR implementation.
