Hello

Is there a specific type of ram that must be used when using the dual channel capabilities of the n-force 2 board??
Do I have to use CAS 2 or will CAS 2.5 work too???
Please help.

No.

People *say* there have been some compatibility issues with Crucial ram, but I haven't experienced it with the 2 systems I've built.

I've heard of issues with Corsair and the 8RDA+ (that are supposedly fixed in the next revision of the BIOS from Epox), but I haven't of any issues with Crucial.

I used Geil and it runs great @ 200MHz with an asynchronous FSB.

i thought they test the Corsair XMS sticks in the Asus A78NX b/f selling? They are supposed to be optimal for Nforce2.

As to your question, CAS 2 or 2.5 only has to do with the speed you run your memory at. 2 is faster than 2.5 but is more expensive.

I use Corsair XMS and like it alot - very stable
