HI all .
Is it detrimental to the performance and stability to use 2X1024 and one or 2 X 512 ram bar on an ASUS P4P800 SE motherboard ?
For now i m using 2 Kingston 1024 but i have 2 kingston 512, all DDR 400 that are just takin dust on the shelf, should i stick em in the secondary slots or is it pointless ?

You would probably have to slow down the ram timings to use them all together, so it would be detrimental in terms of overall performance. Unless, you use a particular application that would use more than 2gb of RAM.
 
The answer is yes, it would be detrimental to performance. Dont mix and match RAM. 2x1GB is more than enough.
