Ram and Motherboard Compatibility Question???

hello everyone me again!

-- i was just wondering if i get the KG7-RAID will the Crucial 256MB, 200-pin SODIMM work with it?

I need to know because if i order the KG7-RAID i wanna know if this Crucial Ram will be compatible. Im not really concerned with the fact its DDR, but i'm not sure on the 200-pin

Where did you get the idea it would use a SODIMM? Let's see, SODIMM 144&200pins, DDR 184pins. 😛 DDR only. PC1600, 2100, 2400, & 2700. Not sure you'll need anything more than a 2100 though, unless you plan to OC. The memory that it's says that it supports, is ONLY what it supports. (i.e. RDRAM, DDR, SDRAM)

If I remember correctly, the 200pin DDR SODIMM's are for laptops. The module would only span about halfway across your DDR slot.

184pin, CAS 2 (if you can find one), or CAS 2.5. Don't get ECC, you don't need it. Just making sure you know that. 😀
