Ram Advice

Not a good idea to mix vendors with ram. If possible, cancel your order and get a match with OCZ or Corsair.

my current setup with mixed ram works just fine, i already have 1gb, the other stick is 1 Gb making it 1.5-2 Gb if mixed.

That is an absolute Horrible Idea to do..You are not getting the best performace out of either 3 vendors of ram at all not a good idea

I went from 512 ocz to 1gb with the corsair and there was a nice boost in games, an my score in 3dmark was around the same, 65**marks, im mostly thinking in the 3 vs 2 sticks limitations.

With different timings on each of your sticks of RAM, it's a good idea to set the timings manually, and not by SPD.

Personally, I don't like mixing different vendors RAM together, but in the past, I have, and have had no bad results.

Forum members can correct me if I'm wrong or out of date w/ my info, but if you have 4 slots on your mobo, and you populate 3 slots (512, 512, 1GB) you will no longer be running in dual channel mode. It might depend on the chipset.
