RAM Advice

OK....so I'm going to just get a 2 GB set (2 x 1 GB strips) rather than play with 4 strips...which of these should I get, or recommend something better please? (doesn't have to be newegg)

THe $200 Gskill looks like a pretty good deal to me.

Forget the G.Skill....I see A LOT of people saying it dies after a month. Plus you can't get a hold of their tech support.

I'm really liking the looks of the OCZ, anyone have unput? PLEASE?

I'd go for the G-Skill or the Mushkin.

BTW: Quick question here: has anyone heard of the brand "Buffalo" for RAM? Are they any good? 😕

very good price and it will handle high speeds at stock voltage

never heard of gskill that dies @ rampant but it has lifetime warranty so thats reasuring

Well, from what I've seen, they die after a month, and despite numerous attempts you cannot contact their tech support for an RMA (I've seen this in other forums more than once.)

I have OCZ and am quite happy with it. Also, The forums here have some OCZ reps that are quite helpful. Eryder responded to me quickly when i emailed him and was quite helpful. Thumbs up to the OCZ support team.
