In general, more ram is always better. The speeds are irrelevant.

Have to agree. You would NEVER notice a difference between two speeds of RAM in the real world. Unless, ~perhaps~ they were extremes like PC133 VS: DDR3. But you could never experience that type of extreme anyway, since the appropriate processors for the two types of RAM are generations apart.

More RAM is better.

that depends on what you are doing...also if the high ram speed is to help you get a higher fsb for a higher overclock then it can make alot of difference. I would never say speed was not relevant but in the op situation I do agree there is not much difference between those two speeds. With more voltage you may can run the 1333 up to a higher speed anyway

With memory dividers, that is irrelevant.

alright suit yourself, but I will keep my elpida 2133s :p Some boards don't do as well or run as stable with the memory divided

If your system supports triple channel then get 3 sticks, otherwise 2 (or 4).
